Sam graduated from Monash University with a degree in science, majoring in mathematics. The following year, Sam graduated from Melbourne University after completing his law degree, with a Supreme Court prize in Insurance Law for achieving top of the class results.


Sam was admitted to practice in 1984. 

Over the years, he has helped clients from all walks of life with various problems. Cases have included bushfire claims, to David and Goliath battles with shopping centres, Melbourne Airport Authority and large law firms; all successfully fought.


More recently, in an effort at continual self-improvement, Sam has undertaken and completed a Masters in Applied Law majoring in Commercial Litigation.


Sam’s motto is best summarised in a quote from Abraham Lincoln - 

“As a peacemaker the lawyer has a superior opportunity of being a good man. There will still be business enough.”

Brooke commenced her legal career in late 2000 as a Law Clerk in regional NSW, gaining experience in a wide range of legal areas.  While working as a Law Clerk, Brooke completed the Legal Profession Admission Board Diploma in Law and then the Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice resulting in her admission to practice in 2007.


Brooke has practised almost exclusively in Family Law since early 2008, with experience in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria before joining Ferraro & Company in mid-2012.  To further her knowledge in Family Law, Brooke successfully completed a Masters in Applied Law in Family Law in 2010.


Brooke has recently commenced the National Independent Children’s Lawyer training program, which she hopes to complete this year.

Brooke Keane

Omruye joined Ferraro & Company in February 2015 having completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in 2014, before being admitted to the Victorian Supreme Court in November 2014.


Prior to that, Omruye obtained a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) and a Bachelor of Laws.


Omruye practices in the areas of Property Law, Wills and Estates Law and Civil Litigation.


Omruye comes from a Turkish background and can communicate in fluent Turkish.

Catherine graduated from Deakin University with a double degree of Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Arts.


Admitted to practice in 2012, Catherine joined Ferraro Lawyers in 2013. Prior to this, she worked as a lawyer with a Melbourne law firm.

Now, as an solicitor and a mother, Catherine strives every day to work harder and be better.


Catherine has broad ranging experience in commercial law and property law. When working with Catherine, a client can expect to receive exceptional standard from a lawyer who counters every day as a blessing and takes great delight in working hard for her family and her clients.

Catherine Micallef

Gabriella joined the firm as a trainee lawyer in February 2017 and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in May 2018. Gabriella works in the areas of wills and estates, family law and civil litigation.

She received her BA and LL.B, graduating with Honours, from Victoria University.

Gabriella is committed to providing her clients with effective representation based on their individual needs. Understanding that her chosen areas of law can be extremely stressful, overwhelming and intimidating, Gabriella places an emphasis on being empathetic to each client's particular situation and carefully guiding each client through the legal process.

Nagisa joined Ferraro and Company as a conveyancer in August 2017.


Prior to joining Ferraro and Company, Nagisa worked as a paralegal for a boutique law firm in Brisbane, QLD for approximately 8 years. 


Throughout her career Nagisa has focused her experience in immigration law, commercial law and property law.

Nagisa accomplished her LL.B in Japan and a Graduate Certificate at Griffith University in Australia. 


Nagisa holds an Affiliate Financial Planning licence in Japan. Nagisa also worked in one of Japan's largest finance company before moving to Australia.

Marie came to our firm in 2004 as a secretary and legal assistant. Marie is responsible for assisting our solicitors. Marie handles many of the administrative tasks, such as, mail intake, answering phones, scheduling meetings, assisting with trial preparation and most importantly, speaking with potential new clients to gather case information for our solicitors to review. 

Marie Grillo

Rose joined our firm in 1998 as a receptionist and legal assistant. Rose is the first point of contact for clients and has a professional and welcoming manner that reflects the firm's overall approach.


Rose, with Marie, manages our firm's front of office by welcoming clients, directing incoming calls and arranging clients appointments. In the office, Rose undertakes general administrative duties to assist clients and provides extra support to solicitors as requested.

Rose Said

Phil joined Ferraro & Company Pty Ltd in 2014, bringing administrative experience to the team. At Ferraro & Company, Phil is responsible for assisting with day to day operations of the firm, and works hard with our solicitors to uphold and provide a high level of service in all areas of the practice. Phil also undertakes the firm's debt collection.

Prior to joining our firm, Phil was a high school teacher and later managed his own business.
